Dear Diary,
So I think I'm finally coming out of my "coma" that has consumed me for about a week. I needed some time to really analyze and interpret what was occuring around me and I've finally been able to pull some conclusions together. Yes everyone, I am ok and No, I am not mad at you. Thanks for caring (or not caring). I love you all:)
One nice perk to being antisocial for the past week is that I have been overly productive in regards to UISG, the GLBTAU and school work. I am actually (almost completely) up to date with all of my reading in my classes and I feel pretty good about it. Also, I feel pretty damned prepared for what could be a controversial Caucus and Student Assembly tomorrow night. I guess only time can tell... but I'm ready for it.
Last night we had a Diversity Leadership Dinner through the UISG Diversity Committee and over 17 diverse groups on campus were represented. The dream I've had since last spring, of recognizing the different orgs of diversity on campus, is finally starting to take shape. I love my Co-Chairs of the Diversity Committee... you know who you are... you are amazing and I couldn't be prouder!
Well, I didnt sleep very well last night and I had a meeting with Dean Jones and VP Marner at 8:30 this morning... yuck! I hate morning meetings! Now my day is basically structured like this:
MEETING->MEETING->WORK @ 126->CLASS->MEETING->MEETING->WORK @ 126->STUDYING->RUNNING->BED!
I can't wait for the last one... I'm running on less than 3 hours of sleep as of right now...
*HUGS*
