Last NIght was Great

Jan 03, 2005 20:17

Okay, Last night... Pretty long I guess, though it seemed like it was only a moment or two.

Okay, Everything started off at around 5:20, with Erin calling me telling me they can't find my church. Haha. I laughed at her and then gave her directions. Mr. Reubin dropped her off and I took her inside to meet everyone. We made the rounds and saw everyone, said Hey, hung out a little bit. Okay, so it came time to leave so we piled into the van with Stephanie, Trent, and Ligia. After a harrowing experience (lol) we got over to Bowl-N-Putt completely intact. Okay, we got our shoes and started to bowl. First game I beat Erin by like 30 pins, haha. Second game, I slacked off a bit *wink wink* and only beat her by like 8 pins. But apparently, both games were a fluke, haha. SO after bowling, everybody decided to go see a movie. Now, Erin and I wanted to go, but, her parents said no. So, I politely bowed out, and after going back to the church, I took her home. I pulled into her driveway to drop her off, got out to hug her and tell her bye and her dad walked bye. He was like "Hey Ethan, Doing alright? You're not leavin so soon, are you? Go inside and stay for a little while." So, I of course didn't want to make Erin's dad mad =). So I went inside and we went upstairs. We sat in their entertainment room (i guess?) upstairs and talked for over 2 hours. I looked down at my watch after an hour told Erin I needed to go, that I was probably wearing out my welcome. She told me she was sure they didn't care and I was more than happy to stay there with Erin, hehe. So we talked on...and on...and on. I looked down at my watch again at about 15 minutes until 11. By this point, I knew that Erin's parents were wondering when I was going to leave. So, I told her I had to go @ 11. We kept on talking and @ 11, I stood up, took her cell phone for ransom...just in case, lol, and started downstairs. I told her mom and dad Bye and said that I was sorry if I had overstayed my welcome. So, We walked out to my car, talking the whole way, and hugged and said bye..twice, lol. As I was driving home, I turned up my praise music and just praised God for all he had done for me and given me.

It was a great night. Once again, I am so looking forward to seeing Erin. I still can't put words to how I feel about her. I was once told by someone that a relationship was real when 'It was about the other person, not yourself.' and I could definetly see this getting there. Ooohhh...That warm fuzzy feeling is intoxicating. Erin is such an awesome girl..I count myself blessed ten times over.

Good Night, God Bless, and Have fun back at school.
