Worky Doom

It's Friiiiiiiday. Hurray! This week has sped by, although the days, by and large, have dragged. (Actually, the mornings go quickly, but the afternoons drag seems to be the pattern.) Yesterday, though, the fulfillment people - the people in charge of mailing stuff out to customers, pretty much - decided to recruit us to help make labels and stuff envelopes and stuff, so the afternoon actually went quickly because we had something to do.

I don't know if they'll decide to give us work to do at work today... I hope so. It really does make the day go more quickly. My only complaint is that we don't really have enough room to spread the stuff we're working on out. Regular agents have their own cubicles with space to spread out. We're all in a line at a long table (well, a couple of tables) and don't have a lot of room. We managed, though.

This weekend I need to see if I can find a sewing machine that I like better than the one I got that didn't work. If I do, then I'll have to try to return the one I got to Target. If I don't, then I'll exchange the one I got and hope that it actually works the second time around. (It really seems kind of a odd that a Singer machine - even the cheapest model - didn't work at all straight out of the box.)

I also need to get an oil change. I should have checked the oil sometime this week to make sure it still HAD any. Oops. It was still at Full when we left Albany last Sunday, but that really doesn't mean anything. :-/ But yeah, time for an oil change anyway.

Printer ink must also be acquired, because I'm completely out and that makes things complicated when I need to, say, print directions to somewhere.

Possibly this weekend I'll do some holiday shopping. Of course, the only person I'm buying (rather than making) something for is my mother. I have no idea what to get for my dad or my brothers. When I asked my older brother what he wanted, he didn't know either. ::grumble:: Maybe my dad will have some idea what my little brother wants. I should email him.

Maybe I'll get to Guitar Center, too... there's one in Manchester, which is where Target is.

Okay... done with the randomness now. I should post the stalker meme, just because it would entertain me to see what people know about me. Probably more than I think... I kind of tend to be an open book.
