Adelaide for Christmas
In six days I will be back in Adelaide. The day after I arrive, Mum heads off to Singapore to meet up with my brother for the last leg of his world tour. He is in Amsterdam at the moment.

My electrolysis is going wonderfully well: R is clearing my face each week and I am sure that D in Adelaide will do wonders.
Also, I have experienced significant breast development over the past two or three months. Now, I am curious to see what happens - I would rather not risk implants and the likely loss of sensitivity.
This week, I had an appointment with my doctor. All is well, although my taking oral and injectable oestrogen has caused my oestrogen levels to skyrocket, so goodbye to the oral form. Next year, I will see the doctor at the end of the street: he is closer and there is no longer any need to see a doctor who is known for expertise in my problem area.
My doctor suggested teaching. It sounds interesting, especially secondary school maths and technology teaching (the government is offering scholarships of $30,000 per annum to study those areas). However, were a rumour to start about my biological history or, worse, someone leaked that, I can imagine redneck and fundamentalist parents queuing to tell the media and the whole thing spiralling out of control. Maybe I worry too much.
Anyway, if no good jobs come up, there is a mid-year intake for occupational therapy and there is also speech therapy, which could be interesting.
Oh, and I have enjoyed a few gin and tonics this evening: actually, it feels rather nice. However, I don't feel the urge the drink and drink and drink like I did shortly before seeing doctor to start this process. Maybe that is an important sign. Or maybe I am depressed and need time with Mum and my brother. Who can say.
Anyway, my electrolysis went well and I even had a brow wax and a lash and brow tint, which improves things. The week after next, I should be catching up with friends and going bra shopping with Mum. I even suggested roping Red into vibrator shopping :)
