3 day weekend!
So Mark has Monday off for President's Day. It's a 3 day weekend and we're going out of town tonight and tomorrow night. Shoot - depending on what happens, we may stay gone even longer!
We're going all the way to Castro Valley to stay in a beautiful bed & breakfast. It has a lovely view of the valley, queen bed, large self-use kitchen, wifi access, and a fireplace!
So Mark was being a gem and fixing the plumbing upstairs. Well, there's something he had to unscrew and it was welded in place.. so instead of unscrewing, the entire pipe twisted. We can't turn the water back on, because when we did... the valve shot across the room. After some, hum, discussions with his Father, it was too late to call a plumber same-day. So we're staying at the in-law's tonight and probably tomorrow night... being Sunday and all. The thing is.. in order to replace the pipe, they have to cut into the wall. Right now it's an insert - so that's going to have to go.
Wheeee! It's an adventure.
