retrospective
So the summers almost over... finally... i go back to school on wednesday... and i'm so so so excited.
Really though, after all the bullshit of the beginning (which i probably didn't write much about because i never write in this thing) the summer turned out pretty well. I turned my whole l.a. social life around I guess. Its nice to meet new people in an old place... and word up nicole... sorry i was such a flake recently... hope things are good in frisco...
what did i learn this summer? I learned that its pretty nice spending time alone.. I learned that my parents are really awesome. I learned first hand what happens to your brain when you smoke too much pot (that was a fun lesson). I learned that just because something seems flat doesn't mean theres no depth under the surface (i learned that i my abstract painting class).
On my road trip, which was one of the best times of my life, by the way, I learned that cypress trees are awesome, condors are weird looking but surprisingly friendly,i learned what molie is, and that you should never do mushrooms in san francisco and then get in a car (don't worry, the driver was not on drugs, i'm not that dumb). Oh also i learned that if you spend 4 months apart from someone, feel like you've forgotten who they were, but then fall right back in love within two days of seeing them again its a good sign. hi adam.
today I watched Eternal Sunshine, which I hadn't seen since it was in theatres. Soo good. How the two characters' relationship was at the end reminded me of me and adam sorta. Well I have a whole explanation but now I feel like its dorky, Maybe I'll write it later....
