Looking for Alaska
by John Green
I have read a lot of Green's work and he defiantly sticks with the same character types, the genius, the trouble maker, and the Random Girl. Although each of his books differ in plot and general development, but there is a trend. That is the subject for another entry, this is going to be about Looking for Alaska as a review and not as a comparative piece. All in all, i would recommend this book to anyone with a sense of humor and doesn't mind Cursing. It starts out shaky, and it made me feel like i was reading Paper Towns over again. Things got interesting in the middle when you finally find out what the narrator, "Pudge" is counting down to. After this event I was enchanted by Green's writing. His description of lose and heartache made me cry endlessly. it is a complete revelation of all matters of the human heart. In short, this book made me laugh, this book made me cry, This book is awesome.
