The last couple of weeks I've making my way through the massive amount of Big Finish CDs recently purchased on sale, slowly but surely, mostly only listening to them in my car to and from work. I've been alternating between Doctor Who Unbound and the Sarah Jane Smith audios and have really enjoyed them so far. My favorite so far is the Doctor Who Unbound: Sympathy for the Devil, in no small part because of it having the Brigadier and David Tennant's awesome portrayal of Brimmcombe-Wood. Definitely looking forward to the sequel of sorts coming out in December.

Finally made my way through reading the first part of Back to the Vortex and am now partway through the episode analysis part. I was interested in reading how things unfolded news-wise for Doctor Who during its first series since I wasn't a fan until earlier this year, and this book didn't disappoint with its thoroughness. I'm just a sucker for wanting to know various speculations at the time, when and how Eccleston leaving became known, when Tennant's casting became known, etc.

The Chicago TARDIS is becoming more and more tempting to me. The list of guests was already looking really appealing, and then Elisabeth Sladen and Lisa Bowerman were added in addition to Colin Baker, Paul Cornell, Gary Russell, and Nicholas Briggs.. I'm already looking at my schedule and finances to see if I could sort it out to attend and if it'd be easier/cheaper to book a flight or drive.
