I am starting to really look forward to my workouts. I had another 90-minute workout with Tom today and it was really good. I can see and feel the results. My body feels stronger. It's been 2 weeks now, and I think I've finally created a habit. I am going to start incorporating 2-3 more days of cardio training in my week (just 35 minutes on the bike).
So my mom should be nearing her home. I feel relieved, for the most part, and hope that she really does know that I tried to do what was best for her. My aunt (mom's sister) is a friggen nut and it would make me really happy if there was some way I could sue that woman for slander or stupidity. She is spreading utter falsehoods and claiming to have witnessed these firsthand. Oh well. The crazy have flocked in the midwest.
We had an amazing turnout for brunch today. It really renewed my desire to serve the people here. Everyone was so appreciative and complimentary.
And one final fantastic note - Beanie and Zach have turned a corner. I have only had to give Beanie one dose of ibuprofen today. Yay!
My lovely husband let me know that
Martin Sexton is coming to Austin in two weeks. He just happens to be my favorite musician. BB King is also coming to town. I will be seeing them both. I'm beside myself with giddy. Honestly.
I'm still sleep deprived. I had about 5 hours of sleep last night and thought I'd hit the lottery. So that is 11 hours combined in the last 3 nights. But I feel good, so I'm not going to worry about it. I have the next two days off of my normal job.
Life is good.
