I wanna go home! (float Home = Hampshire;)
It will be awesome to be back at Hampshire where, unlike here in my house:
- It is quieter
- Much less yelling takes place
- People speak in voices that feature qualities beyond a condescending tone or utter sarcasm
- Not everything has been expired for days/weeks/months but it is insisted it is "fine"
- I can sleep better
- Feel less restless
In other news the sling shot I received as a souvenir from my mom’s trip broke (because it was made of junk), but I salvaged the leather and improved on the rubber and used my sling shot body I had prepared last summer. I am rather pleased with the outcome.
Well It's been a half hour since I pushed the button on the water heater, which will hopefully make up for the fact the first portion of my shower almost killed me when the water temperature dropped to 0* and I was forced to evacuate. Lets hope for warm water this time.
In more uplifting news, I downloaded Azumanga Daioh, which is perhaps the cutest freaking show ever and makes me all happy to watch. This is because I am a woman.
Also I stayed up late/early looking into internships and have a big list of places to mail and beg for a chance to learn with, the two I am most excited about are small game developer houses that offer nice internships. So after a shower and a call to the Deveglio house I will perhaps begin writing shit and considering creating a new demo reel now that I understand After Affects.
If I am lucky they may overlook the fact I am a college student devoid of talent and take me on to photocopy and make coffee for them. Perhaps even to photocopy coffee for them!
