well it's been a while since I wrote in this thing.
so many stories to tell that it makes my liver quible at the thought of saying anything.
but allas I must...
last weekend was "reality weekend" it's an all weekend, all campus, drunken-high-tripping and deboterous festival where the sophmores take over the campus and decorate the campus and throw a giant party. This year it was huck finn. Seeing as how I hate people, and of course parties, I was in a sore mood on friday afternoon. They even shut the library down -_- so I couldn't hide in there. So I went for a walk, a really long walk, and climbed up to the top of monte sol, out of earshot of the big PA system. I happened to have deago with me (the guitar) so I hung out on a ledge facing the valley. I figured I was maybe playing for the heavens, or the mountains off in the far distance. Anyways I got kind of thirsty and tired so I came back to the campus. I continued to be a bad mood for quite some time but I finnally sucombed to the keggs of free beer, imported from a microbrewery in collorado --- I couldn't resist. So yeah I sat there for a long time in the main party area where the beer was and sipped on the stuff for pretty much the rest of the whole day, listening to the live bands that played into the night. I kind of don't remember what happend that evening, probably because it wasn't very exciting. Anyways, the reason I started talking about reality is because of Spartan Madball --- the greatest game ever played on earth, ever. There are three rules to the game: no shoes, no vehicles, no weapons. There is one ball and two teams comprised of the seniors and freshmen, and sophmores and juniors, (means vs extreams) and the teams try to get the ball into the other teams goal. The game is over after the first 5 points 3 hours or 3 hospital visits. It was awesome I can't really explain it in words. In the rain of a spring thunder shower my team, the extreams, won the game after two or so hours of dogg piles, pushing, heaving, moaning, screaming, and wresteling, cut up feet, and frightening war calls.
every muscle in my body hurts. like I can't even cough. my respect for st. john's college just multiplied inumerable times.
Anyways. I have two more days untill I'm on break (for 10 days). I'm also not living in a tent in the woods anymore which is nice to. I have a room for the break, until the summer semester starts. I'm hopping to figure out a way to get a room for the summer semester to. We'll see what happens. Regardless it's pretty much in the bag for me getting a room for the fall semester. So I'll be alright cause I'll have housing by the time it gets cold.
