vacation is over, and now the long run to graduation begins.
I went to school today and I knew nothing.
"Huh? We're in chapter eight? WHAT? We have a quiz tomorrow? And a test next week? When did we finish the chapter?!?" ~ AP Statistics
"Damn, I think I lost my binder!" ~ Government
"Chapter eleven? When did we finish chapter eight? And did we just skip nine and ten? WTF?" ~ Physics
I was so lost. In English, it was supposed to be quiet reading time. But since we're reading 1984 and I've reread the book twice, I thought I'd listen to my iPod like I normally do in the class. Then everyone's looking so confused and it turns out the whole class could hear my iPod. It was weird because before during silent reading, they couldn't hear it. Hmm...
And then in government, I had my earphones on and Canavero was waiting for me take them off before started the class, only it took my two minutes to realize it. And then, I did take them off quite reluctantly, especially I had nothing playing. I even told him so:
"It's not on! I can still listen to everything you say."
"Then why do you have earphones on anyway?"
"Oh because since I'm not wearing earrings, my ears feel light and weird, so I thought that these would help me feel like I actually have ears."
A series of weird looks follow.
Ohhh crap. I just remembered. I was supposed to call Heather to work out the rest of my experience. Ack! I know what distracted me.
My haircut. Yep. It's too short, anyway. I asked for hair beginning at the length where my face meets my jawbone, as I always do, and this time, my hairdresser thought it would be fun to give me bangs. Interesting.
Nonetheless, I guess I am satisfied. The style did take some getting used to, but the main purpose of the cut was to get the weight off my shoulders and eliminate split ends, so since that has been met, I'm okay.
This song is addicting. Correction. This band is addicting. I played one of their songs to this girl in my class, and this is what was said:
"Wow, I was not expecting female vocals."
"Yeah. I like female-fronted bands."
"Oh. Do you like Lacuna Coil?"

I don't know.
