The night before last, SIXTEEN PEOPLE on the line, (including scanners and throwers) , and 2 leads, on a one truck night. Tonight, 2 HUGE trucks, (4200 peices) EIGHT people total, 3 of which were new, none of which were leads. I had Dave standing, watching, and breathing down my neck the whole time because I wasn't making perfect palettes because I didnt have the time. June, if June had pulled palettes away any slower I think she would have slipped into a coma and died. It was me and Desiree, a fairly new girl, holding the whole damn thing together. She is an incredible worker, very very fast, and BEN IS TAKING HER OFF THE LINE, and leaving RONNIE, the most worthless person that has come out of the seasonal hiring, after promising me that he would take him off the line. We finished at 11:40, I had barely broken out toys before first break was called. At break Ben informed us that the truck hadnt gone well and that we needed to move faster on the floor to get things done. Ben had me in chrage of toys, and seasonal, BY MYSELF. That means all the Christmas toys, and all the Christmas ornaments, trees, etc. I've never worked either, I barely had any idea where to start.
...I need ice cream. I also need to get my thyroid checked, something isnt right. I've been working like crazy for the last few months, and eating healthy (except for the ice cream I'm about to go to cub for, it's low fat though?). I still look the same as when I started I think except for some muscle increase.
I'm tired, no ice cream for me, just sleep. Tomorrow is my last day this week, then I get to see Krissy, she'll make it all better.
