Otherwise ooooh this verse~ I read this yesterday and I fell in love with the premise. And this bit:

He wanted to kiss Seishirou, but he was pretty sure that Subaru's role was be kissed. He shivered a little, out of fear and shame, as he thought about how he wasn't brave enough to ask. It was terrible of him, that he couldn't show the trust he felt in Seishirou.

Oh Subaru, someone needs to hug you forever. This much guilt cannot end well.

Hot and sweet at the same time. I particularly like this moment of their interaction:

Seishirou grabbed Subaru's hips and pushed them down in order to hold them still. "Not yet,"...

"I'll try,"....

"Don't worry," ... He bit the edge of Subaru's jaw and tightened his hands around Subaru's hips. Subaru made a strangled noise. "I've got you."

I wonder... Seishirou's face darkened because he doesn't love him or doesn't want to be loved by him? But hadn't Subaru won the bet in this? I'm confused...

Anyway loved it! (Also any chance we'll see more of Linage or of the Secretary AU?... yes, I'm demanding...)

Yes, Seishirou lost the bet. But he hasn't processed yet that Subaru loves him as well. At this moment, he's just being possessive. I do plan to explore this more.

I'm actually working on Linage about now. :)

Hmm, hot. But poor Subaru, guilting even then.
I wonder about Seishiro's darkening face though. I though the premise was that he'd figured out he loved Subaru?

Well, yeah, he does. However, there's a difference between Seishirou realizing he loves Subaru and Seishirou realizing that Subaru loves him. I don't think, in canon, he ever really realized that. I want to explore that idea in this fic.
