"Please don't go away again," Kamui said.
Even though the last person Subaru held was Seishirou's dead body and he never wanted to hug anyone again, he carefully wrapped his arms around Kamui's thin shoulders and wished more than ever that they didn't have to share such heavy burdens.
Kamui clenched his sides so hard that Subaru bit his lip to hide his hiss. "Fuuma, I - "
"You love him." Subaru said. His throat hurt, he wasn't used to speaking much anymore, much less words with anything resembling meaning.
"Is that okay?" Kamui said, lifting his head up and looking as frightened as Subaru felt nearly ten years ago when he realized he was in love with Seishirou.
"Yes," Subaru said and Kamui pressed his face against his shoulders shook from tears. Subaru attempted to stroke his hair gently as he continued, "Just be honest about it."
