He's pressed against the bed when he reaches up to touch her hair. "You're growing it out." It's a soft, gentle whisper; the kind that's between lovers. She leans closer, he moves his hand to curl around her jaw.
"Do you like it?" Rinali asks, her lips brushing the corner of his lip.
"It's you." Allen knew she'd understand what he meant: I meet you when you had long hair, l fought with you when it was short, and I've loved both; I'll love whatever you change into.
Rinali closes her eyes, hair brushing against his face, and kisses him.
