I'm pretty sure it means it's like, you know like in the Simpsons when someone says something funny / confusing / too smart for Homer and everyone / Homer goes silent and the crickets come and make their noise. Yeah. Well, that's how I see it anyway.
Also, who still watches Looney Tunes? I LOVE Daffy Duck. You HAVE to watch Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a half century. I know, long title.
*Marvin the Martian pulls out a gun labled 'Decinterating Ray' and points it at Dodgers*
"Ha ha ha. Little does he know, that I have on my decintergration-proof vest. You may fire when ready."
*Marvin fires and everything except Dodgers' vest turns to dust*
