i got my car back! mom drove it out yesterday for a visit, and then nessa and i drove her home later on in the evening. we always enjoy a road trip together. i love driving through the mountains at night, but it's always so much more fun when she comes along for the ride. we hung out at my parents' house for a couple hours and then decided it was time to visit walmart for bunnypalooza, that time when easter stuff becomes 50% off! as if either of us need any more bunny paraphenalia!

and i'm thinking that misty may be able to see the vet soon! well, i'm hoping. freedom just got in a ton of overtime, so that'll help a lot. despite feeling sneezy and snuffly, she's been quite rowdy for her age. i think the tamoxifen makes her ornery. i've been cracking up at her antics on a daily basis. :) she's also been even more affectionate than usual. she seeks me out for pets every time i enter her room, i'm always getting bunny kisses, and she snores by my side almost every night now.

sharing my home with an elderly bun is absolutely wonderful. i'm grateful for every single day. :)

i don't know what i'm doing this week, right now my only goal is to vacuum out my car and get some groceries. i haven't been real up on going out lately, unless it's somewhere conducive to good conversation, like a friend's house or a cafe. a sign of getting old?? nah. i'm actually just sick of the bullshit i see when i do go out, particularly at ceremony. i went for an hour on saturday and left totally disgusted and bored. i went home and watched a movie and found that the passing of time was much more enjoyable. i've been receiving a lot of company lately, and that's been absolutely wonderful, so i'm not anti-social. i still enjoy a stroll down carson street where i may run into a familiar face or two. i'm always up for adventure, i guess i just need something new to do. i may check out live band karaoke again soon, and i need to spend more time at the quiet storm, and other new territory.

well, time's up at the library.

misty
