Glad I don't run a construction company...

If I did I would go stark raving mad - contractors don't seem to understand the concept of "on time" - I finally got a company that knew what to do to install Cable Internet, but they never showed up today, despite claiming twice that they would be here (over the phone). I'll give them until noon tomorrow, and if they haven't come I will call and yell at them until they do come. Worse yet, though, the A/C repairman hasn't called back. He came and told us we had a burned out circuit board yesterday. Then he called later and asked for the Part Number of the board (apparently he'd looked at the wrong number when he'd actually been there). And since then, we haven't heard anything. Also, the Electrical box that connects to the A/C was burned out, and Dakota Electric (our electrical company) hasn't shown up EITHER, despite promising to be here yesterday. So its hot and I'm annoyed. I suppose if they don't get the A/C fixed, it won't be so bad, seeing as how I have relatives coming for July 4th and the following week, and a canoe trip with my mom and sister for the following week, but still - it annoys me that we're 0 for 3...

On another note, while I'm somewhat busy for the next few weeks, later on, ameresu, you need to show me that pizza place you said was the worst in the metro area... :)
