The joys of potty training.
Chunky has been oh so in to potty training this month, so when you have to go, you can pretty much assume you will have a guest along for the experience.
Today he enters the bathroom while I am "going" and gets on the potty holding a belt. I find this curious, so I ask him what the belt is for to which he gives me a "well duh Dad" look and proceeds to wrap it around his waist and the lid of the potty seat.
He never actually got the belt fully around himself and the lid, but it was one of the cutest things to see tried.
He knows the belts on his car seat and high chair are there to keep him safe and felt the potty should be no different.
He may not have been able to secure himself to the seat, but I am happy to report that he did accomplish the main objective of actually "going" while on the potty.
How's this for spectacular??...9 out of 10 times he will pee standing up. It is usually all over the potty rather than in it, but it is the fact that he knows guys do it that way and is determined to master how.
