Anyone else up for the garden hose treatment??
Just got back from the meet and greet with the new gastro doctor...the last one was a "hard to get a hold of" bitch, so I decided to hit up someone that is actually in the office responding to patients more than one in a while.
He is being kind to the big whiney bitch that I am and will be knocking me out for the upper test...not sure if I will be awake for the tushy poke though.
The lady at the desk, handling all of the paperwork told me she had a few more forms for me to fill out (on top of the 5 I received in the mail) and apologized for it; I told her it was ok since this part was by far the least invasive of the whole deal.
Unlike the ass crack doctor I had before that made me wait a month to perform the test and then was next to impossible to reach after to get the findings (the surgeon I went to actually got them and admitted it took him 5 separate calls to reach a person rather than an answering machine), this new guy will be calling me later today or tomorrow for the test date and I was told to expect it to be within the next week.
I am not sure if I am happy about it being so fast given the areas of interest, but at least it will get done.
