Anyone remember this dog from last year?*
It came in the other day for its annual vaccinations. The clients are...well...difficult, shall we say, but still: The warm glow of I am fucking awesome that occurs upon seeing patients like that? Totally reminds me why I do this job.
*If you don't want to click back: Jack Russell terrier that got bitten by a Great Dane and basically had all of its ribs broken, its chest crushed, and not insignificant amounts of lung lobe flapping around in the open air when it arrived at the practice. There was about seven hours of what is euphemistically referred to as 'heroic surgery', and to this day the dog contains enough metal that she'd probably set off shop anti-theft sensors.
