AHHHH!!! Life is crack at the moment. This morning I was registering for courses and being that I only had one successfully registered course already I had to find 3 others that I wanted and that weren't full... not easy to do when you're the 3rd wave of freshmen to deal with registration after the rest of the school has already picked their classes. Very stressful morning. I eventually ended up with a freshmen seminar - Emerging Diseases (which I had wanted originally but thought I wasn't going to get because it was closed but a space opened up! good thing that when I was in the bookstore buying my book someone said that they had taken it last year and said that it was hell on earth), I have Intro to Psych as a social science, Greek Archiology and Art, and Bio 100. It's a decent schedule. People have advised us to only take about 4 classes 1st semester. I was going to be taking ballet as well (I got placed in ballet from the dance placement test yesterday), but it turned out (after I had already emailed the professor for entry into the class) that it conflicted with my freshmen seminar which I didn't want to drop, so ballet will have to wait till next year (or I could do jazz in the spring - they only offer ballet in the fall). La.. so that was all very stressfull. I had to go buy my books as well... they're way too frickin expensive but I was lucky because I was able to get some of mine used (mostly the 6 for my emerging diseases class - yay for lots of reading). .... Last night was fun while I wasn't stressing about registration. We had an activities thing at the University Center (the UC - look how well I'm learning the slang). That was cool. They had make your own ice cream sundays and picture keychains and DANCING. I chilled with a group of people from my dorm (Chrisina, Alaina, Guy, and Ben - I have in the back of my head "we likes him precious" - he's cool, 6'3, blondish brown hair, good sense of humor - la). The dancing was fun. My little gang wasn't really big on the dancing :( They played Get Busy (yay) but no one knew it, and no one knew how to swing either!!! much sadness. But it was a fun night none the less ( very hot... dancing was very hot - and no ac in the dorms - *sniff* ). I should probably go do something productive for a while - like find space in my room for all of my books. I hope you are all doing well - not going crazy with collegeness. much love now and always.
