Whatever it means to you, to me it means HOLIDAY! And most places are closed... for a holiday that only Massachusetts and Maine celebrate (although Wisconsin lets all their public school kids have a day off for it). You had me terrified for a minute there, but Hari still has school tomorrow! Maybe they had it off last Monday when it was still under the category of "Spring Break". ;->

I think this is the reason April Vacation is always the third week in April here... Because they only miss four days rather than five.

I got the Wisconsin statistic from an online news item, so I bet was part of the vacation week if your school vacation was last week.

We've also got the reenactment of the Paul Revere ride, the battles of Concord and Lexington, and also the baseball home game at Fenway, scheduled to end so the spectators can leave Fenway park, wander a few blocks to race route and cheer on the leaders of the marathon for the last mile or so. Big party time, here.
