Since I was asked for pictures...
Here is my parent's neurotic dog Max. He is a 75 pound, almost-three-year-old black Lab. And he, while being a very pretty dog, also being a touch... screwy.
The two crocheted beaded necklaces I bought (at an extremely deep discount) this summer. The green one was the very first necklace the artist used after figuring out her bead crochet technique. The technique is not a crochet-with-beads technique, it is the way of weaving the beads. I totally don't understand it, but it turns out omg gorgeous.
The artist does higher end necklaces with garnets, silver, and gold.
And this is the new necklace - at least a closeup of it. I don't have a handy little bust to photograph it on. It has four of the all silver bands made of spacer beads that are each about an inch long. The purple beads are variegated - some have an overtone of blue wash, and some are more true purple. It is especially lovely (and she was very pleased I enjoyed it so much).
