And that says a lot. First cracks aces with two outs on the river and then calls with K8o against AJ all-in. What a joker. Reminds me of a dude who called my AQo all-in with K3o and river ratted me. Of course that too was final table heads-up...
My only complain is that you gave out again too much information about the tournament. Pleeeaase don't do it next time.

Apparently his opponent had been raising all-in from the button half the hands (of course they didn't show this on television...) and the blinds were ridiculously high, so he thought K8o is probably the best hand against a habitual stealer. Again shows how false picture we get from the cut.

Whatever his thought process was (i.e. putting his opponent on a bluff), the call was terrible. His opponent was playing a very poor heads-up game, and was giving up pots left, right, and centre, playing very passively, when you need to play aggressively in headsup play. Alan should have folded hands far better than K8 (I'd say up to AT and 77), and let his superior skills grind Daniel Quach down.

He answered on 2+2 i think. He had been raised/reraised in a number of pots which arent showed so he decided to take a stand with k8. Not such a bad move esp when stacks were close to 10xbb. Looks like a bad move without knowing the history b4 the hand.
