Awwwww, that was so schmoopy, but still IC, I can imagine Kon saying all that. Timmy never stood a chance. "the only person I trusted enough to follow--shut up, I did so, Apokolips doesn't count" - That made it very real for me. :) I laughed at the chapel in Vegas thing, because in Smallville Clark did that. Martha was Furious with Clark, I think it's the maddest she ever got at him. (BTW, typo on Martha) I can just imagine if Tim and Kon Did get married in Vegas and told the Kents and Clark was like "Aw, I did that, Alicia was so hot...Mom please don't look at me that way", and Batman went and scared the Elvis minister into doing an annulment immediately. I think the World's Finest marriage would have to be pretty momentous though.

I'm glad you liked it!

I used to watch Smallville, and I've seen that episode, but I still didn't connect that to this fic until I read your comment, so thanks for pointing that out. And Batman scaring the minister into performing an annulment sounds hysterical and exactly like him.

*snicker* I love how Tim totally missed the first time he spoke in this fic. That was cute. Really, the whole thing was sweet enough to make my teeth hurt, but the humor helped a lot.

And I totally agree with Kon - naming the dog Luthor is beyond a cool idea.

Thanks! I'm glad the humor balanced out the MASSIVE SACCHARINE a bit. And Tim's only cool and well-spoken when he *isn't* discussing sex.

And I am *so happy* you like the dog idea--it's a plot bunny I've had for years and will probably never get the chance to write, so I put it here instead.

This is so precious!! There needs to be more happy saccharine Tim/Kon fluff, especially after stupid Infinity Crisis. I want a sequel with more of the dog. That was awesome.

Thank you! If there's any benefit to the Crisis it's that I can write something this sentimental in response and not feel completely ashamed of myself.

No promises on the sequel as I have several I'm writing already, but I *love* that you liked the dog! It's a very old, abandoned plot bunny of mine.

There is nothing about this fic that is not cool. Tim's mis-speaking, Kon's cute little monologue, Oracle making a tape of the convo, Kon wanting to name the dog Luthor.
