But you also didn't define which version? Everyone's idea of what God would be is different, hence the abstraction. For instance, the people runnin' this place seem to be god-like, but may not be gods.

We know little about them, except that they inflict the curses and have certain forms. They alter this place as they see fit, anytime they wish. There do seem to be limits, however.
