I haven't posted how the riding is going in here, I been keeping the Blogger account updated.
I have been trying to get as much riding in as possible. I started with 12-15 mile rides part way home and moved to full ride home and up to 35 miles with 10 added to the commute. This weekend we did a nice 49 mile ride in the Redlands, winds were up but not too bad, in fact they were fun resistance.
I have been trying to change the lifestyle quite a bit, no drinking, more sleep and lots of good eating. I am taking supplements like Whey Protein to keep the fat intake down, I have been using CarbBoom while riding to keep energy levels up CytoMax electrolyte replacement drink etc.. I will be buying a recovery drink also because the 37 y/o BOD is feeling the pain now that we are up to 50 milers on Sundays.
We will be heading to Clermont, where they do the Ironman every year. Hopefully do as many miles there on good continuous hill climbs. Will be doing one called Cardiac Hill, so it should be fun. We have a NC trip planned for April as well. Maybe do some areas like the Blue ridge parkway for road climbing and then some off road like Pisgah.
I am getting better at this so hopefully I will finish the LT100 on my first years attempt.
