well i left during the lunch time and all these people were trying to stop me. like some bitch that wasn't even a security guard or anything i said "get your hands off me, i don't care if this is a lock down, use your words" and then tim was trying to get me to stay by offering me various places inside of east to go. then i said "if our lives were seriously in danger then lunch wouldn't matter", he had no response, so i walk out, tim follows me, he then says "there are tons of police outside you WILL be arrested" i say "sure" he says "if you leave i WILL inform the principal you left against my will" "do you need me to spell my name for you?" then as i'm walking outside me and a cop with his window rolled down make eye contact which says we both think this is stupid and i keep walking. some arrest.
but i don't know i guess i'm about to see what's gonna go down. i'm not too worried though because all east basically ever does is threaten you which they see as authority. "if you are late to class you will be written up" "bla bla bla you will be written up" "bla bla you will be suspended" they always have to use some type of threat to get what they want because they haven't figured out another way to have the control they barely have. i'm hoping that if something does happen, i get to see mr harris because i'd like to tell mr. california (no offense to your love for cali) a thing or two. he's always boasting about how he's such a great principal and willing to talk to students and supposedly does, yet when i set up meetings with him he is totally oblivious to obvious problems that i feel everyone at east faces one time or another. he's so caught up in the facade he's created in his mind about east that he has never stopped and actually looked at what's going on. yes, i understand that there have been a lot of school shootings lately, but what good is it to ruin 2,000 kid's days over a threat made to 1 kid and then to tell everyone exactly when they all will be released? i mean, seriously, how many east kids get threatened on a daily basis? is this going to happen every time ONE PERSON is in danger?
and if the school is "secure" 1)why were you able to leave? the cop just let you go 2)why were kids able to enter the lockdown late? 3)when jessie got dropped off, a security guard turned her away from the door, then krause comes running toward he screaming to get inside "we're in a lockdown" 4)if it's secure to the outside, why the fuck can't we go about our daily lives.
and 5)i've been threatened like "i'm gon' shoot you bitch!" no one closed down a school for me. and i'm a senior.
