ITALY
1. Monk mugs ('nuff said)
2. Random gladiators on the street (sometimes stripping)
3. Crazy drivers (let's try going head on to a bus in a FIAT!!)
4. Tiny cars (Ford Focuses seem BIG)
5. Thong Machine (2 Euros for thong-in-a-ball)
6. Pizza, lots of pizza
7. Several-course meals (they just keep bringing the food)
8. Gelato! (if you don't believe me, just ask Mary)
9. Shopping (all the stores sell the same things)
10. Language Barriers (Parle Inglese? No. Visa? YES!)
11. Red Polos (matching tourists...AAAAAH!)
12. No customs? (no customs, no worries)
13. Baci (If I could have 1,000 kisses, and then hundreds more...)
14. Belts with English words (just "a few" typos)
15. Dance Parties @ Full-On and @ the Hostel (SPRINKLER!!! Sleazy Cowboy?)
16. Graffiti (yup, it's there, too)
17. Rappelling (lean back, but I'm HORIZONTAL!!)
18. Fruit-filled croissants (yum, lots and lots)
19. Mopeds (even businessmen use them)
20. Winding Roads (wandering through streets of gorgeous buildings)
21. Looooong Tunnels (they really mess with Summer Reading Projects)
22. Nuns (giving presentations, driving cars, telling jokes)
23. Hills (go to the top and you can see everything; it's getting to the top that's difficult)
24. Ease of transportation (the US should be jealous)
25. American music on the radio ("Hollaback Girl" everywhere!)
26. Big shuttered windows (perfect for senior pictures)
27. Mix of old and new (modern road running next to the Coliseum)
28. Parades for patron saints' days (complete with white cow and fancy suits)
29. Golden Point (bathing suits with tops AND bottoms)
