I missed it, but last Wednesday was my four-year anniversary with Silver Platters. Yay? Four years is a long time.
In honor of this occasion, here's a snippet of my conversation with Corey after my initial interview, way back in the November of aught four.
corey: how'd the interview go?
me: really well :D
me: he quizzed me on some music trivia
me: and he asks, "name all four beatles"
me: i was like "PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT"
me: CHILD'S PLAY
corey: hahaha!
corey: you should have been like,
corey: in order of birth, when they joined the beatles, or height?
me: hahahaha
me: Of course, I had to show off and say "Richard Starkey aka Ringo Starr"
corey: hahaha, i love you.
corey: see, the fact that you were asked about the beatles in an interview for a record store just proves what i was arguing
corey: there wouldn't be anything today if it weren't for the beatles.
me: well, DUH
corey: you can say there would, but there wouldn't
corey: the beatles paved the way for everything there is today
me: EVERYTHING
me: even like, bicycles
me: and jam
corey: especially jam.
