QUEEN EDIT OF PROOFREAD MOUNTAIN

Oct 24, 2007 08:36

The vice president of my company asked me to proofread and edit the customer newsletter. Needless to say, that is not usually done by one of the store employees.

I am totally bring my Associated Press stylebook with me.

HUGE FREAKING EDIT:
I finally got a new apartment! It's in Ballard just a few blocks off Market on 15th. It's a nice 1-bedroom with more room than I know what to do with, a really cute kitchen, lots of windows, and green walls. I am so excited I hardly know what to do with myself! I was supposed to find out last week, but the real estate agent got sick, so she just called me today. I wish I had known sooner, because HOLY CRAP now I have one week to get packed and moved! HOLY CRAP!

Can I say "holy crap" one more time? HOLY CRAP!

Smaller freaking edit:
I've spent the whole day now cleaning the ol' compartment, and I've run into a lot of little bits of paper with things scribbled on them - I tend to do that a lot. Odd or amusing overheard conversations, random thoughts, quotations, etc. Here's a good'n.
