Yesterday turned out to be one of my best days off in a long time. I spent the morning running errands (including a few Halloween-related), then Erin picked me up and we went to Northgate. We had a nice girly day of shopping where I spent too much money on clothes, then balanced the girliness by going to Display & Costume (aka The Costco of Costumes and Decor) and looking for Halloween decorations for their house. Then we got Jake and went downtown, ostensibly to see a movie; when we couldn't all agree on one, we just ate at Johnny Rockets and did more girly shopping at Old Navy (come on, they're having a huge Fall sale, nearly everything is half off or marked down to 4 bucks...I'm supposed to resist that?)
I got home just around 11 and was prepared to call it a night, but soon after I started chatting with Brad on gmail, and he invited me to a late-night Sherlock Holmes-watching session. We only made it through one of the movies (Sherlock Holmes Faces Death!) before Brad was about to fall asleep on me, so I headed home. At 3am I tumbled into bed, pleased with such a lovely day.
Hope you all had a good one too, my dears.
