The panda says NO

Jan 10, 2007 10:37

I finally got my package from Corey and Tod today! I had to walk to the post office and pick it up, but better that than it being left in the house and absconded.
Corey started a new Box, retiring the one we started using before I moved to Michigan. Poor guy started out as an Amazon.com box bringing Corey a Christmas present from Buffy, then was covered with duct tape and Clerks references and sent back and forth across the country more times than I can count. He's holding Corey's LSR memorabilia now, which is appropriate. The new box is Amazon too; smaller, but Corey won't be sending me anymore bottles of Faygo (*sniff*) so that's probably ok.

Robot Present Roll Call!

- One (1) purpley t-shirt with a cool screen-printed design that involves a number of items, including a horse, a teapot, a spider, a pair of scissors, a rabbit, and a pair of scissors. I have no idea wtf it's about, but I love it.
- One (1) copy of "Eats, Shoots and Leaves," the grammar book I have always meant to read and never got around to. It comes with stickers! Of apostrophes and such! And some that say "The panda says NO!" I now know what my first silk-screening project will be :D
- Two (2) framed pictures of Corey and me from WeddingWeekend 2005. One of them is so cute it makes me a little choked up.
- One (1) trashy romance novel about rock stars.
- Three (3) packages of mysterious candy.
- One (1) Playmobil Pirate to add to my collection! I'm not sure how it got started, but Corey has now bought me three (3) Playmobil Pirates, and I love them. The first one had a captain's hat and came with a barrel of grog, the second came in a boat with fishing gear and a shark and a little island. This one's name is Rico and he has a parrot, whose name can only be Suave.
- One (1) casette tape of Flood by They Might Be Giants.
- One (1) copy of the hilarious YAC comic Save Spidey!

I now have pictures of me with my two best friends hanging on the wall over my desk. They make me happy and sad at the same time.
