Chicken, punk rock, and kids in helmets

I have been having so much fun lately with this new group of friends I've been seeing a lot. It all spun off from hanging out with Devin and Anna and the knitting group. Last night we had an unconventional dinner party, where Chris made a ton of fried chicken and we potlucked the rest. I made homemade mac 'n' cheese for the first time (which went over like gangbusters), Amber brought biscuits, Kristin made chocolate chip cookies, and Sevegen broke the Americana theme by bringing dolmas. Evelyn came and brought her sexy British boyfriend, who turned out to be really awesome. Much fun and shenanigans were had. We realized that a bunch of us (Kristin, Sevegen, Amber, myself) all had today off, and Anna got off at 2:30, so we planned to all get together and let Anna take pictures of us. We ended up going to Pike Place and wandering around for a few hours. I resisted buying several GMC magnets but not a pair of knee-socks with stars on them. Bad market! Stop making me spend money!
After humbow and Anabelle in a helmet and other shenanigans, we dropped off Anna, Kristin, and Sevegen, and Amber and I proceded to return to the House of Broken Glass for fudgesicles. On a whim, we decided to make crepes and eat them with whipped cream and nectarines and watch The Filth & The Fury. Then she insisted on watching Trouble In Room 100. Crepes and punk rock: two great tastes that taste great together!

I wish I had the balls to dress up as Sue Catwoman for Halloween. Would that not be an awesome costume?

Also, Amber is probably going to move in here! It'll give Erin and Jake a break on the rent, and I'll have someone to live with. Yay!

ALSO, last week Anna took a ton of pictures of me on my roof. She hasn't sent me all of them yet, but I think this is all you really need to see...
