Today is my day off, so I did my sluffing around the house thing, then got out to run a few errands. Went to the drugstore for a few things, then couldn't remember the other errand I wanted to run. I stopped at Pizza Pagliacci for one of their yummy salads, and then headed home. On the way, I noticed that the little underground record store on 45th & Brooklyn was open. I keep meaning to check it out, so I walked down the stairs and took a peek. Lots of used CDs, DVDs, vinyl, cassettes, some books and assorted other bits and bobs. Nice guy running the place. I got the fever for some new vinyl and there was nothing I wanted in the dollar bin, so I caved and bought Harry Chapin's Danceband on the Titanic.
And let me tell you...
This record has been EV-RY-WHERE!
Oh strum your guitar, sing it kid
Just write about your feelings
not the things you never did
Inexperience, it once had cursed me
but your youth is no handicap
it's what makes you thirsty
