Today/yesterday was a rare day off for me. I didn't have class because of some sort of "school issues day" or whatever crap excuse they want to give it. Erin had the day off as well, so we set out to Get Things Done. We went to Petco for a new harness for Dexter, then to the dog park to let him run off some energy. We then went to Ballard, where Erin needed to take some pictures for one of her classes. We walked Market Street, took pictures, had lunch at Vera's, hit up Archie McPhee, and stopped at the Scandinavian bakery so I could buy mom some Yulekaga.
Archie McPhee is awesome and evil. Everything's cheap and little and yet so irresistable. You end up spending a lot on a ton of little things. I got a new wallet, which is good because my current one was falling apart. It has cowboys on it!
Then we came home and both got to work on our respective studies. I wrote the proposal for my English project while Erin worked on Structures homework. We took a break to order Chinese for dinner and watch an episode of My Name Is Errl. Am I the only one who thinks Ethan Suplee is sort of attractive since he's lost all that weight?

Reading old LJ entries is always bizarre. I was poking through some of 2003, and it just seems like so long ago. I barely feel like the same person. It all seems so distant now...hanging out with Wally at Plan B, making zines until the wee hours with Corey, working at Video To Go...was it really three years ago? Is three years shorter or longer than it seems?
I don't know, Katherine, I just don't know.
