EVERYTHING IS RENT

Oh my god. Oh. My. Jonathan Larson.

I saw Rent tonight. It filled me with glee. There was only one thing that made me go, "oh no you di'int!" and in the grand scheme of things, it's not that bad.

I want to go over every detail, but a) I don't have time and b) most of you don't care.
I need a Renthead with which to squeal over every iddle biddle detail. My brother loved it, but that's not the same.
Actually, I'm really glad he went with me. He didn't just love it, he GOT it. He grokked it. After the film ended and I sat there in a daze for a moment, I turned to him and said, "What did you think?"
He took a deep breath and said, "Give me a minute."
We sat all the way through the credits, because we didn't really have it in us to stand up yet. This is one of the marks of a really great movie.

They were giving out free stuff and I didn't get a shirt like I wanted, but I did get...um..well, I'm not sure what they are. They're black and knit and one has the Rent logo on it. Aaron voted for leg warmers, but I really think they are supposed to go on your arms. Not nearly as cool as a t-shirt, but still, free is good.
And I got a press kit, of course. RACHEL YOU ARE JEALOUS OF ME :D

I was looking through the press kit and realized that the Adam Pascal who plays Roger is also the Adam Pascal who played Eddie in SLC Punk. I can't believe I never knew! This is almost like but not as crazy as realizing Jesse L. Martin from Law and Order was Collins.
Can you believe it? Fag bashed without the benefits.

My love for Mark is renewed with a vengance and I have a new understanding for Rachel's Roger-obsession. Sigh.

I cried like a retard with a skinned knee during Angel's funeral. When Collins sings I'll Cover You...I just lost it.

movie, rent
