first poetry slam
So i participated in my first slam today,
and dropped in the first round
the other poets were peticularly well represented
and i got high 8.5s to 8.9s (out of 10) for the most part
so i can't complain
it was a lot of fun, and i got to jam it with some excellent poets
they invited me to dance afterwards, but i've been sleeping on time lately
and i'm not about to crash that good habit
