Hi Elliot, I look at your Live Journal every day for a new posting so keep those thoughts coming. I laughed out loud while reading your description of those thieving children and how you described them, although I could also feel the stress in your voice trying to cross the border in time and intact. Your attitude sounds great about relishing those adventures, for better and worse. I guess the main thing, for me, is that you return with a greater perspective of how people live, you figure out how to get along and around in your travels, your sicknesses can all be cured, and you are unharmed. Sounds like you've already had many conversations about all of the above. As you're probably already aware, you need to anticipate more when you travel as you don't know what you will encounter next! Keep close track of valuables, and I don't mean posessions, I mean passports and such. Write as much as you can, so you can have your perspective a long time from now. Love, Mom P.S. If you know Raad's Live Journal address, and can pass it on, I'd like to hear his perspective of same.
So i just talked to Raad and he is not sending posts on livejournal, just private emails to family. Sorry, i thought he was contributing to Kevin´s posts on his livejournal account.
