I discovered a marvelous bookstore today - they have an entire floor of used books and sales! I was tempted to buy at least 3 books, but decided to look them up on Goodreads and find out more before I buy them. Besides, I haven't even finished the book I'm reading at the moment.

I bought the most impractical shoes today - they're very comfortable, not-quite-hightops by Nike, and they were on sale for 35€... The only problem? They're white canvas shoes. Which, for Dublin, is probably the worst kind of shoe. Keep your fingers crossed for some non-rainy day.
I also bought a black camisole/tank-top. I wasn't actually planning on buying it, but it has those little buttons on the front and the décolleté is cut in a way that makes my boobs look fantastic. Too bad I don't have anyone to seduce.

I've been running around these past days without any make-up (or with very little make-up). My skin has been surprisingly good lately, especially considering the hassle of the past few weeks. Today I went out of the house without anything on my face (save for one or two dots of concealer). And then this lady in a store I'd gone to to buy some Clinique foundation put a super-thick layer of it on my skin while testing if it's the right shade for me. It made my skin-tone look very even, but I can't help but think that I actually prefer the more natural look - such an amount of make-up made my skin look older and mask-like. It made me realize how little make-up I actually wear in comparison to what is probably considered a proper foundation.

I got caught in heavy rain (and wind) on my way back home. One thing I really don't understand is why they give you PAPER bags at every store when these start falling apart after 5 minutes in the rain. Ok, I get it, it's environmentally friendly, but still. Stupid.

There was a Christmas show thingy going on on a stage they'd built up in the middle of O'Connell Street. Isn't it a little early?
