I wish Weir loved croissants.
I guess this is the point where I should start planning a trip to Moscow in October.
Grand Prix assignments are out. I am so sad that Johnny Weir didn't get France, because France has a fantastic line-up of people I'd love to see in all disciplines (except maybe dance, but I don't really care that much about dance). The only thing that's missing is Weir. Russia, on the other hand, doesn't really have anyone I'd be thrilled to see, aside from Johnny, Mao-chan, and Meryl/Charlie. :( Also, France is so much easier to travel to than Russia, sigh.
I mean, TEB has Adam. And Tomas. And Joubert, obviously. And Yu-Na!!! AND Mao! And Caroline Zhang and Sasha Cohen! Aliona/Robin and the Kerrs!
Why oh why. Right, Rostelecom Cup also has Plushenko and Chan and Kozuka, but I'm not that thrilled about seeing Plushy (because I'm still kinda miffed about his attitude), I'm not that into Patrick Chan (though he is fun live) and well, I like Kozuka but. I still like France's line-up more.
But this is my last chance of seeing Mr Weir skate. I don't know how I'm going to do it (especially if I should have a workplace by then), but I want to go see him.
