Soundproof bubbles.

So that you get something else from me than just whining about work - have a bit of my art journal:

soundproof bubbles

Teri, Reet, Betsy: I hope you don't mind me sharing photos of the cards I'd made for you. I like how they turned out, I like them more than my actual journal pages here, so I included them in the post.

As for work...
• I sat in a meeting till 6:30pm today. Just sat with a headache, wishing I could flee and hating it more and more with every passing minute.
• We had a team brunch in the morning, aka another meeting, only with food. Because of the brunch, I didn't go have lunch (I wasn't hungry), just sat in the sun outside and had ice cream during my lunch break. a
• I learned where and how to pick up the mail. (Yes, this internship is very challenging, woohoo!)
• I edited pictures in MS Paint again. Seriously, can't you people get us Photoshop?! Once it will be actually my work that will require photo editing, I'll ask them about that.
• I pinned print-outs onto a bulletin board. (Woohoo!)
• I was asked to print out little "flags", cut them out, so that they can be sent to London where they'll be put onto a gift for used car dealers at the conference in two weeks. (It's an oversized brush. Don't ask.) When I suggested that it would be maybe useful to print those onto sticker paper, so the hostesses in London don't have to fiddle with glue, the employee who gave me the task was all 'wow, good idea!' I hope the print/media department (or whoever is doing it now) gets it done, because I really don't feel like cutting out a 100 flags.
• I secretly researched US colleges, and started collecting some info on viral marketing for my thesis. The stupid thing about my workplace is that it's an open office... and the interns are right in the middle, with no privacy at all.

I think I hate office work. The problem is... 90% jobs these days ARE office jobs. :/ I wouldn't hate doing something creative/interesting in an office, like designing stuff, but I'm no professional designer, sadly...
Also - it's kind of hilarious that I've always thought that the MINI cars are completely stupid and way too small for comfort, not to mention kind of ugly. And here I am working for the brand. Even though I still think they're stupid, too small, ugly, and overpriced.

I was so angry when I got home, so frustrated. I would have liked to go do some aggressive activity, like rollerblading (since I can't skate at the moment...), but I was also SO tired. :( I will leave work early tomorrow, I think, since I was there so long today, and then go check out the Olympia park.

PS: I had Actimel for the first time today at the team brunch. Ew! The taste is horrible!

art journal, work what work?
