You know, my life would be so much easier if
- I didn't have to deal with idiot incompetent people and filthy room-mates.
- The school didn't give us last minute assignments based on a class we never had.
- The school didn't require us to go to a stupid 4 hour session on... how to write our CVs?! in our free time.
- MegaVideo didn't stop in the middle of a GG episode to tell me that I have watched 72 minutes already and that I have to wait an hour before I can finish watching. (I have not watched 72 minutes. More like... 30? WTF.)
- I could finally find an internship offer where they'd read what I write to them, and wouldn't expect me to come meet them next week or something.
Oh and the weather? The weather could be nicer, too.
I spent the whole day at school. Morning was Photoshop class; I wrote applications etc. Afternoon was media/communications class, which was spent discussing bits and pieces with my two French team mates and then waiting for like 40 minutes before we could get our hands on the recording device. Then we recorded, the French girls kind of sucked at acting with their voice. (I think I did a decent job - clearly whining on YouTube and in audio posts has paid off.) Tomorrow we have to edit the audio/re-record, and record videos. And I'm not really looking forward to that.
Last night's skating was nice, except it was freezing at the rink. It's funny how the day I decide to wear one layer less/one long sleeve less, it's much colder than usual. The ice was perfect, though. I figured out why I probably fell that one time when I fell so hard. I noticed that I'd kind of been forgetting to use my upper body on three turns in a certain direction (I think CCW) - no wonder I fell on my ass. If I don't turn my upper body in the right direction, I can't expect my feet to follow. ;) Oh and - how is a half lutz supposed to work? The counter rotation doesn't make any sense to my brain and body.
I just ate two helpings of ice cream and a spoonful of Nutella and now I want to curl up and wallow in self-pity and cry, though it would probably be more productive if I did pilates and stretch my back a bit.
The bright news of the day? Johnny Weir is indeed going to do commentary for the Ladies at Worlds. That should be fun.
Oh and... I want Evan, Johnny, and Stéphane to skate a threesome number to El Tango de Roxane from Moulin Rouge.
