When I grow up, I want to land an axel, too.

You know what I realized? The main reason why I want to do my internship in Prague is this: I hope that in Prague, I'll be able to find a figure skating coach, skate regularly, do off-ice practice regularly, go to a gym regularly.
I don't know if I'll have the time for all this; there's still the work part and the master thesis part and you know, all that crap. It's funny how one day I might land an axel is so much more motivating than one day, I might be a marketing manager of an international company. Speaks volumes about my priorities in life, eh?

I watched this Turkish lady on YouTube who started skating at 27 and is currently working on her axel. And it just... it makes me want to go on the ice and work work work, so I can get better and progress. But I want a coach; there is only so much you can achieve as a self-learner, I think. (Not to mention that it's safer to work with a coach.)

But oh, figure skating, I love you so. I'm so lazy sometimes, though, I swear. I could do more general work-out at home to make myself stronger.

edit: The floor in my room is not slick enough for the spinner. D: The only way I can spin a little is on the rug I have in my room, but it slows me down a lot and I can't spin for long.
