The non-sparkly part.
What I did today that did not involve figure skating:
- slept badly (again)
- got up at 8something (it was hard)
- sat through a lecture on branding (it was nothing new, plus the female prof's voice is so uncomfortable to listen to)
- had a horrible lunch at the student restaurant (still don't get how the French can happilly eat their meat this raw)
- went to do research on rice, Fair Trade and organic, in the supermarket with my project team (Nina bought rice Pringles - part of our research!)
- spent the rest of the class ripping out pictures from magazines and glueing them together to two big moodboards (still don't know what a moodboard is, exactly)
- hated the cold, rainy, windy weather (umbrellas = impossible)
- ate too much cake (again!)
Then I watched the skating and now I should go to sleep. Cecile (French flatmate) is bad. I did not miss her at all when she was not here. The less flatmates, the better.
PS: Is anyone else all excited about Drew M skating at US Nationals? I can't wait to see him skate! I don't think I ever have and I'm curious.
