Peter Pan would not be proud.

Skating or no skating tonight? Considering that I spent the whole day at school and am very tired, maybe it would be wiser not to go. But maybe I should push myself. I read up on spins and stuff last night and want to practice.

School was... odd. It was part of my International Marketing class called Studyline. Turns out that that's a name of a company doing student coaching - they basically teach you how to apply for jobs.
So we spent the morning discussing the ego states (parent/adult/child) and determining what our driving ego state is - mine is "adult", followed closely by "controlling parent", "submissive child" and "creative child". I got very low scores on the "nurturing parent" ego state - no wonder, since I hate children - and the "rebellious child".
The professor is a French guy, kinda funny in a way, with a French accent much less orrible than most French accents. (Though he still doesn't pronounce the Hs.)
In the afternoon, he looked through our CVs (I didn't have mine printed out), revealed to us that the French are exceptional even where basic punctuation is concerned (in French, you put a space before ./-, but when it's a two piece sign, like ;:?!, you put a space before AND after - or something like that). And then, when we were all tired and wanted to go home, he made us do "stuck in the elevator" exercises, where we had to spend 30 seconds in an imaginary elevator with an imaginary HR executive of a company we want to work for, introduce ourselves and persuade the guy that we're a great candidate. I hated him more than a little when he made me do it. (In front of the whole class, of course.) :/
But seriously, I've heard all this crap before, in one way or another, so it would have been much nicer to just do something else. But that's almost always the case where school is concerned.

Samira - the Mexican girl - is so sweet. I sat beside her in the afternoon part of the class and we talked a little here and there, and after class, and she's just adorable and we kinda have a lot in common. (She writes, likes to eat and to work-out, she doesn't follow the news and read papers... just like me.;)) And she's very pretty.

Random thing I forgot to mention: yesterday, as I was about to descend into the metro, this random Oriental-looking French guy, probably also drunk, started sputtering something at me. I didn't understand, he rambled something about Lille Flandres, so I pointed and told him yeah, that direction is Lille Flandres, but he went on shouting... So, instead of ignoring him and walking on like I normally do in similar situations, I just turned around and sharply said: I don't understand any French, leave me alone! He totally backed off, haha, all scared. I was so amused. Bitch!me ftw!

dangerouss - I got your letter/package today! Thank you for the tea! <3
