Well. I went there. It's in the middle of fucking nowhere, in a part of Moscow that actually made me feel slightly uncomfortable - it doesn't happen often, but I actually felt UNSAFE there, like someone was going to rob me or something. I don't know how going back in the dark would have felt. Of course, the rink is closed. :( They closed it at like... the beginning of April. :( (WHY the fuck do they close indoors rinks?! In a big huge sports complex, even? I mean, I understand why they close the open air rinks, but the indoorsy ones?) I tried to call, but it's a holiday, so nobody picked up the phone.
And aaah, that is a very very very lovely picture. <333 Also, Stéphane is now spreading himself around, too? (The first thought I had after looking at the picture - well, the second one, right after "ooh, sexy" - was "hey that looks like Johnny's move".)
Also, haha, I see that Stéphane has been too lazy to get the rest of the screws in, just like me - I'd think it's a bit more dangerous for him, what with all those triples and quads. I need to get the rest of them screwed in. :)

Oh that sucks :( And I know what you mean about feeling unsafe, I'm usually not afraid at all in big cities, more so in the country where it's like dead after 9pm which freaks me out, but whenever I had to walk alone around south/east London in the middle of the night the safety feeling was partly gone. Btw are you still planning the London visit in the summer? I should be there around July 12, but that's too early for you, isn't it?
I hate that they close the rinks as well. The Verner one was closed for a month because they melted the ice and renewed it completely and now it's open again but not for public skating, at least I think so, I haven't checked yet. The other rink was transformed into an in-line skating hall and the rest of them is closed till September. The only one left is pretty good though, it's new and should be running till August or so, I'm gonna check it out for the first time tomorrow if I'm not feeling too PMS crappy.
I think it's the final Romeo pose? It's not a recent pic because he still has the hair there :(( I love that when the boys do this diving and leaning back stuff they mouths fall open automatically which I think it's the closest to orgasm we will ever get to see them (though of course I still hope for the web cam broadcast XD).
Why don't they screw them in all at once? You had it done in the skating shop, didn't you?
Our mic hasn't been working for ages so no Skype :( I have ICQ (218-047-020) though I'm only ever there when I really need to discuss something or leave some links etc. and that's not much often, but we can totally chat sometime :)

They didn't put all of them in so that I could go and skate and find out if I like the position of the blade on the boot. If it was uncomfortable for me, they could shift it to the side a little bit - some of the holes on my blades are not round, but oval, so you can shift the blade to the left/right and adjust its position a little bit. I don't know if I'd like another position more, I'm fine with them the blades are now - I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. :)

THough one day we should all have like a conference call on skype - you, me, Reet, Cel and whoever else has a mic and is interested. :D It would be hilarious. It starts automatically for me, so it shows me as online whenever I have my computer switched on, but I don't usually talk to people much on there, either. ;) But you're an exception, you can babble at me whenever you want. :)))

Hmmm maybe ;) I just read a nice article on Evan and he even remembers Stéphane's name, while last year it was just "the Swiss guy" :D I'm really liking him again, and Brian as well, which is worrying because now there's no one left whom I could hate on, but I'm sure it will all come back with the new season :)

Here, it's translated from Japanese or Korean or something like that. And omg you didn't see the video? Lmao I really shouldn't show it to you now that I said I actually like Evan, but it's here and it's completely hilarious. And of course makes you want to kick him because it's right after his win in Spokane. But lololol his speaking abilities are so PATHETIC - "it was like a little bit surreal like it was kind of outer body and I like almost could feel like my heart beating like it was so strange and and I kept like fainting and then I would like do something and be like oh my god this is so cool but then I would like go back to my like super like mental zone..." And that goes on for six minutes XDD The Swiss Guy moment is at 4:10 and it cracks me up every time. It's especially priceless when you know how Johnny knows almost every single detail about his competitors and pretty much everyone else in the skating world.
I mean, it's not like I can skate much better than you. Believe me, you do :) I don't know, I feel like I'm doing everything wrong because I don't really know how to teach myself the basics, like the right use of edges and stuff like that, I'm changing them rather instinctively and then try to balance it out and it works somehow but it's definitely not the right way to learn things. And I'm sure my posture during everything is crap as well. As for the coach, I don't really know exactly how much, it's like 250 just for the ice but I don't know if it's for everyone or for the whole group. A girl from the adults group at the Verner club gave us a contact on a coach that would be willing to take on newbies, but we had to wait till the rink reopened which was like yesterday and I don't think the girl who promised to call the coach has done so yet.
There's lots of training camps all over the place in the summer, Mishin has them as well, in Italia nd Estonia and I think Germany, too. Everyone can participate, it's a great chance to work with some of the top coaches, but pretty expensive. And many top skaters join them as well - Kiira, Stéphane, Plushenko this year, Tomáš, Carolina, Kristoffer... though I guess they have individual program. It's great fun but hard work as well, Tomáš was talking about them running around lakes in Finland last year :) They do biking, ballet lessons, all kinds of stuff, and work on new programs I guess. Tom's coaches are going with him so he probably just works with them, he also has this Russian? choreographer I don't remember the name of and he worked with Lori before Worlds.
Björk is very cool to skate to! I loved Daisuke's exhibition as well. Btw the guy is so sweet and hilarious, he left Morozov :(( this week but updated his website to tell us that "don't worry, Takahashi is all right" XD And he also cares about his old rinks closing in Japan and the kids not having where to train, he's such a nice guy <3

Awwwwwww this is the first time I saw the program Evan skated in Johnny's pants. And I like it :) And the interview at the end where he says they're Johnny's and n'awwwwwwwwww. And yes, I do realize I'm one year behind on stuff XD But for some reason I only ever saw Evan's INXS number from that show so this makes me exciiiited. This plus the fact I've had too much coffee once again.

Btw I'm buying in-line skates! Haha I haven't skated in those since I was 10 or so. But there was a TV piece on Tomáš Verner a few days ago and he was skating around in them, too, so I thought why the hell not. And at least some of my friends do in-line skating as well so I can go with someone, compared to ice skating. I need to re-read your US in-line posts, you did some pretty neat stuff in them :)

Yay for inline skates! They're great, I love rollerblading. Though not as much as ice skating, of course. They're good workout, though, and healthy, cause you get some fresh air. :)
And naah, I didn't do anything fancy, just crossovers and waltz jumps - those were my fanciest moves on rollerblades. :D
