Yesterday, I set out early, because I had no idea how long it’s going to take me to get to the Aeroport metro station - the Moscow metro is a little unpredictable sometimes, in the sense that distances that seem approximately the same in the scheme are different in reality, so I couldn’t even estimate. I'm also in the group of beginners, but we practice not more than 3 or 4 elements: some steps, then jumps, and spins at the very end; but it's always only one type of element (i.e. for example, three turns, then salchow, then spins on one foot)
I always skip gym, just no time for it :( at least, I promised myself to go to gym as of the next season
trying to understand, how to make waltz jump after salchow-like entrance o_O do you mean three turn and then change of foot? (if it is salchow, you do not change it and just jump after three turn)
or is it smth else?

Haha, you skip gym? But gym is good. :)
Well, it's basically the three turn with the free swinging leg, or a series of three turns, and then when you're going forward, you go into the waltz jump. At least I think that's what we did.

I know! but really no time for that :(
series of three turns, and then when you're going forward, you go into the waltz jump
I think I understood that :)
what about the ice there? is it good?

The ice was nice, freshly zamboni-ed when we began. It was a bit too soft, though. The whole facility is quite nice, even the toilets are reasonably clean. :D

If you'll manage to get some private lessons it'd be so much better for you! Being followed in every move and constantly prodded usually boosts the improvements like mad...
But I know that the costs may be quite high *sighs*
Hips are a bit of a bitch! I spent whole months cohabiting with ice packs, lol!
